Entrepreneur in Residence- Temporary Contract 

Summary of the position:

Collider Foundation is seeking applications for a temporary, contract Entrepreneur in Residence as part of a new, twelve week community incubator program. This position is a flexible commitment during the time frame of the incubator, and can be performed in person or remote. The main role of the Entrepreneur in Residence is to provide mentorship and guidance to pre-sales incubator companies that support overall business growth and development across a range of industries.

What you’ll do:

  • Cultivate and advise incubator companies in strategic areas that encourage their growth, including market analysis, operations, financial projections and analysis, product design, business strategy, and pitch development.

  • Educate and provide guidance as incubator companies navigate and set milestones to achieve for a successful exit from the incubator.

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of recent industry experience as a serial entrepreneur, startup founder, C-level member, or early team lead. Experience with a company exit is preferred. 

  • Extensive history working with startups across a range of industries. 

  • A passion for mentoring early stage entrepreneurs.

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and connect with diverse teams.

  • Open minded and accepting of multiple different perspectives of entrepreneurship.

  • Experienced at solving a range of business challenges and identifying potential business risks.

  • Experience starting or scaling a business in Rochester, MN (preferred).

Pay range for this position is $1,000-2,000 per three month contract, based on experience and qualifications. Contract may be considered for renewal after completion of this three month period. The contract will run from approximately April through June.
